Battery charge stops (plugged in, not charging) on Windows 10

Are your getting a plugged in, not charging message from your laptop battery? For a free fix, try these easy steps and see if it works for you. These tips apply to almost all laptop brand like Lenovo, HP, Asus, Dell, etc.
Before trying out steps below, you should try to
1. restart your computer. It fixes some kinds of problems sometimes.
2. run Neptune SystemCare to check common PC issues.
3. try another charger.
4. remove the battery and cool it down to room temperature.
How to fix battery plugged in, no charging problem
Step 1 Shut down Windows and power off your laptop, which means you should turn off the power.
Step 2 Disconnect the AC (Alternating Current) Plug from your laptop.
Step 3 Remove your laptop battery.
Step 4 Connect your AC Plug back to your laptop.
Step 5 Turn your laptop on and start Windows.
Step 6 Go to Device Manager by right-clicking on the start button and select the option. Look for Batteries listing and right click on Microsoft AC Adapter and choose to Update Driver Software… Repeat the uninstallation on Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method.
Don’t worry. These two battery drivers would install automatically when you start your Windows 10 next time.
Step 7 Shut down Windows and power off the laptop.
Step 8 Disconnect the AC Plug from your laptop again.
Step 9 Insert the battery back into your laptop.
Step 10 Connect your AC Plug back to your laptop.
Step 11 Boot your laptop.
Step 12 Use all the battery charge completely and recharge to the full beam. Repeat this three times and during this process, you should allow the battery to cool down to the room temperature between charges.
Your battery should then be charging successfully and the message plugged in, no charging should not pop up now.
