How to boot into and get out of Safe Mode on Windows 8 PC

Sometimes, things just don’t work right and you need to boot into Safe Mode, which starts Windows 8 with only a limited set of files and drivers, and no program will automatically start up. How to Boot into Safe Mode When Windows is Running Normally
There are at least 3 methods to enter and exit Safe Mode when your Windows 8 can start up like usual. Here we only display the easy ones.
1. Use MSConfig
Boot into Safe Mode
-> Press the Windows + R key to open Run dialog box.
->Type msconfig into the run box and click OK, this will open System Configuration Tool.
->Go to the Boot tab, check the box Safe boot and click OK.
->When you reboot your PC afterward, it would start up in Safe Mode.
2. Use Shift + Restart
Another method is to press the Power button at the Windows login screen or in the Settings charm.
-> Hold down the Shift key and then click the Restart button.
-> From the Choose an option screen, click Troubleshoot.
->Then click Advanced options> Startup Settings, and then choose the safe mode option you want from the list.
How to Boot Windows 8 in ant out Safe Mode When Your PC Is Not Starting
When Windows 8 fails to boot, it appears that the boot option will automatically show up the advanced recovery mode after a third try.
If not starts automatically, you can still manually access the recovery options by holding down the Shift key and repeatedly press F8 key before Windows started up. If you are quick and lucky (Windows 8 PCs start up quickly), you can get into the recovery mode.
How to Get out of Safe Mode
1. Restart PC
When your Windows 8 is in Safe Mode, usually restarting PC will boot in normal mode automatically. If not, use MSConfig method following.
2. Use MSConfig
-> Press the Windows + R key to open Run dialog box.
->Type msconfig into the run box and click OK, this will open System Configuration Tool.
->Go to General tab, check the box Normal startup under Startup selection. Click Apply.
